Cup & Cook, a cafe and eatery in the waterside suburb of Kyle Bay, offers incredible coffee, lazy all-day breakfasts and a beautiful lunch menu inspired by clean eating and seasonal produce.
The brainchild of two mates on a mission to bring fine food into everyday spaces, Cup & Cook is run by barista and cafe entrepreneur Matthew Oxenham (the “Cup”) and chef Charles Di Marco who has worked at some of Sydney’s top hatted restaurants (the “Cook”).
The women behind the guys – wives Jansci and Bianca – make sure that Cup & Cook meets the modern needs of busy families, all set in a cool industrial-vintage space that brilliantly mixes steel and timber design elements.
The Story.
Matt and Jancsi Oxenham met back in the heady 90’s when they worked together at then-popular Burdekin Hotel in Sydney’s Oxford Street. Serving up cocktails side by side and working crazy hours forged a lifelong passion in hospitality – and love – for these two. They’ve masterminded and run a succession of amazing local dining concepts since then, including Foodies in Sans Souci and Cup & Cook in Kyle Bay.
Charles and Bianca Di Marco make Cup & Cook the place you love behind the scenes. Charles works his magic in the kitchen, after spending years in Sydney’s top restaurants such as Steve Manfredi’s 2-hatted Bel Mondo, 3-hatted Marque under Mark Best, Sydney CBD institution Bambini Trust and local cafe concepts where he found a good mate in Matt Oxenham. Bianca is a freelance Art Director, she gets the news out there for Cup & Cook.
